Editorial Process

Every article follows a structured editorial pipeline:

  1. Topic selection: Topics are chosen based on reader needs, biblical importance, and search demand — not trending controversies.
  2. Research and drafting: Articles are researched using primary biblical sources and established commentaries. Some drafts use AI assistance per our AI Usage Policy.
  3. Theological review: A human editor reviews all claims for consistency with Scripture and orthodox theology.
  4. Fact-checking: Historical and biographical claims are verified against established sources per our Fact-Checking Process.
  5. Scripture verification: Every Bible citation is checked against the actual text in the cited translation per our Bible Translation Policy.
  6. Editorial review: The article is reviewed for clarity, structure, tone, and adherence to our Content Standards.
  7. Publication: Only after all reviews are complete is the article published.
  8. Ongoing review: Published content is periodically reviewed for accuracy and relevance.

Accountability

Our editorial team is accountable to our readers and to the broader Christian community. We welcome feedback, corrections, and questions through our Contact Page. Verified errors are corrected within 5 business days with a correction notice, as described in our Editorial Policy.

Doctrinal Commitment

Every team member affirms the core doctrines of historic Christianity as expressed in the Apostles' Creed and Nicene Creed. We do not require agreement on secondary matters (eschatology, modes of baptism, church governance), but we do require alignment on the essentials: the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, the deity and humanity of Christ, salvation by grace through faith, and the bodily resurrection.
